“Covering our Service Members and Veterans touched by war with Quilts of Valor®…”

A Thanksgiving message from our QOVF Executive Director:

Thanksgiving Thoughts

Thanksgiving is a time of reflection for many people.  For me it is a time to stop and give thanks for my family and friends and for having the freedoms to enjoy doing whatever I like.
We all know those freedoms would not be possible were it not for the sacrifices and willingness to serve of our military family.  If you know someone serving on active duty, please thank them for their service and protection.

Of course, thanking active duty personnel, or a veteran from WWII and all the time in between is what the mission of Quilts of Valor is, 'To cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.  Over 1600 quilts were reported awarded just during the week of Veteran's Day.

For that, my thanks go to you the volunteer, the supporter, whatever your role is.  You may have cut, sewn, pressed, cleaned up or written a check.  You all receive my thanks for giving of yourself and your time and resources to fulfill the mission of Quilts of Valor.

May you have the best Thanksgiving ever, knowing you have made a difference in the life of a Veteran.
