WW II Veteran Awarded his Quilt of Valor

On Tuesday, October 20, 2015, one of our WW II Veterans from our East Central Illinois area was awarded his Quilt of Valor at the Veteran's Memorial of Newman, IL, by Donna G. and Vicky H. of the St. Joseph Quilters:

L-R: Wife, Charlotte, WW II Veteran, Wayne F., and St. Joseph QOV Quilter, Donna G.
This WW II Veteran and his wife were more than proud to show Donna G. and her QOV fellow quilter, Vicky the Veteran's Memorial in Newman, Illinois, where they chose to have their Quilt of Valor Award Ceremony.

Donna G. and her St. Joseph quilters have created more than 100 Quilts of Valor over the past several years to honor and cover our East Central Illinois Service Members and Veterans:
